U-Pick Flower Farm
CHECK IN
Check-in at the front desk in the Big Red Barn. We will provide you with supplies for cutting out in our field.
We are happy to take walk-ins, but appreciate appointments for large groups. Please call us to schedule your next u-pick at 509-750-8911.
PREPARATION
You may choose a container in the barn to arrange your flowers in, make a wrapped bouquet to take home and arrange, or bring your own container to arrange in. We will provide you with water and flower food to prepare your vase before cutting.
CUT
Rules for Cutting:
-Always use a sharp, clean pair of clippers provided in the barn.
-Stay on the walking paths when in the field.
-Sorry, no pets allowed in our U-Pick field.
-When cutting, leave two levels of leaf nodes on the plant to ensure it continues to produce.
-DO NOT cut the entire plant and DO NOT uproot plants
-Anything you cut, you keep
-Place your stems into your bucket as you peruse the Farm and make your flower choices to keep your plants hydrated for arranging.
ARRANGE
Once you are happy with your selection of plants, it's time to head over to our arranging area to make a beautiful bouquet in the shade. You may also head to the barn for your flowers to be wrapped so you may take them home to be arranged. This is also a great place to admire your flowers and relax and enjoy our beautiful nursery.
Pay
Once you are done arranging or picking out your flowers, make your way to the barn to return your cutting pitcher and supplies. Our staff will be happy to count and process payment. Then you get to take your flowers home to enjoy!
